3. Shakespeare Micro Spinning Rod
This rod is on the list because it is an ultralight rod. Ultrlight rods can be paired with small reels, and can catch tons of fish. Just because they are ultrlight, that does not mean they cannot handle the job. These rods are tough and fun to use, and at around $20, a super bargain!

As with the Ugly Stik GX2, these rods are super tough and super durable. They are almost impossible to break, and can catch any fish from freshwater to saltwater. We included this rod on the list because the brand is trusted, and it is great looking rod with the cork handle.
